I've been looking for a cam belt cover for my C20LET but on the site, some say early model and others say late. How do I know the difference? Cheers lads.

Early c20lets have a round tooth pulley set up & the late c20lets have a square tooth pulley set up.

So how does that make a difference to the cam belt cover?

Because if you have a round tooth pulley it will be an early type c20let with the early cambelt cover. Late c20let cambelt covers are a different shape, i made the mistake of buying a late cover for an early type engine.

Right OK. So before I buy one, I'll need to remove the cover and look at the tooth pattern on the pulley?
