We were miles better than them last night and at Parkhead, Aalborg are far from the elite.

The away record is simply a mental thing we can't shift, teams that included; Lubo, Henrik, Sutton, Hartson genuine top drawer footballers couldn't shift it. It's depressing.

Its bitter sweet for me to take, i'd actually of preferred Celtic to still be in Europe, Uefa Cup preferrably.

Means all you can focus on is domestic now and with the ability yous have of grinding out wins it doesnt give me much hope of us winning the league which will be literally catastrophic for us financially

I'd agree with that, would have been better for rangers if we managed to make the Uefa cup and got through a couple of rounds.

I like Celtic, my Scotish team, but its a bit poor that they won't even be in the Wafer Cup. No offence but domestic cups won't be much consolation will they when you consider the teams you'll be up against.

I need to take up pole fishing, my grounbait catches anything and everything.

Aalborg are a poor side but like you said Celtic have a poor away record, but the two best sides went through in the end.

The worst thing about your bait was the fact, in Champions League terms, we do have players with limited ability.

In an ideal world, Celtic, Rangers would be in the Barclays Premier League, which would then attract the better players and making them into a team which can go up a few gears.

Yes but in the premier league i doubt they would finish high enough for europe! Thus not really attracting the better players.

Curtailed by the fact we'd be one of the richest clubs in the Premiership without a wealthy benefactor we'd be in Europe with 5 years.

We're on the rich list with Multimedia revenue either the equivalent or less of a mid table Championship club yet we're expected to compete for a place as one of the 16 best clubs on the continent.

Rangers and Celtic(more so) have big fan bases already and would recieve so much more in terms of tv revenue from the Premiership that they could easily be competing for decent finishes.

IMO they should have to work their way up to the Premiership if they ever get the chance to play in England. Part of me would like to see it, part of me wouldn't

Both of them should never be allowed to play in the premiership imo

We won't be, we'd take money away from other clubs, no chance we'd be voted in.

The more feasible alternative is a European league of some sort which will possibly happen but maybe not for another 10 or 15 years at least

The crime is the same, a team from another country playing in English leagues.
