erm i fitted new front lines, they didnt go quietly either, so with some snips and a grinder they were off
old
new
then upon bleeding the system, a rear cylinder popped, so its getting new ones, and new shoes.

Why do you buy these kind of cars and spend loads on rerplacing bits, surely you lose out on them in the long run

Would the 1.25, 1.4 and 1.6 Zetec lumps all run on the sale loom?
Like swapping a X14 to X16 in a sport?
I only ask as im considering putting a 14 or 16 in my fiesta.

honestly i got it to keep my mind busy,
and if i was to sell it knowing that a part isn't right, i wouldn't be able to sell it, for all i know a mum could get it and have the kid in the car and the brakes could fail,...
no, not doin that, i would rather spend a few quid and know that the best of my knowledge its a solid motor

Yeh it was pretty smart. Sold it on now though. New owner is doing cams etc on it to make it full racing puma spec rather than nearly racing puma spec!
My mate who owned it has a better project on the horizon now!
Details on the silver one when he owned it: here

Not MHW's iirc. He got them from German eBay so they weren't the "brown" smoked ones. He DIY'd the headlights, and did the fogs to match

You're right actually. The rear reflector bit isn't so dark on MHW's.
