Hi guys my mfd temperature is showing --'c just wondering what ive got to change and where it is, also my mfd keeps resetting like if i hit a speedhump it will turn off and resets, Thanks

sound's like a dodgy connection at the back for it to keep restting..
the --'C the temp sensor could of disconected or even died

the plug on the back of the mfd will need resoldering its probably loose, it might also get the temp to show up, if not- The sensor for the air temp is behind the front bumper, sort of opposite the numberplate if that makes sense.

Mines doing the same, new temp sensor needed, but i cant be arsed Mine does --.-c then starts randomly at -34.5 and works its way up to the right temp, then off it goes again back to --.-

Oh right mine doesn't do that my temp doesnt work at all.

If it's a dodgy plug you'll lose radio information as well. That sounds like the temp sensor is on the blink, which is located behind the bumper.

Excatly the same as mine. I'm going to get a new sensor tomorrow .

My Mum has a 1.5TD that used to do this.
Start the car up and it'd work it's way up from -99 to +99 then do --.-oC

after changing my bulbs the clock now shows different times. I obviously set it correctly but most of the time its 2 hours behind and sometimes about 3 hours ahead? The minutes keep but the hours are either + or -...
Anyone know whats wrong?
