Ok,car runs sweet as a nut,just a wee niggly problem.
The fuel pump relay is draining the battery if left in overnight.
Dont know why but it has a MG relay looped off as shown in pics,
any ideas why this is???
Goin to try a new relay in it,just wondering why the other relay was there

mine drains overnight as well. not got another relay obviously but would like to know what people say about the draining problem

Been told the relay will be knackered,can get another 1 for a £10 but just wondering why theres 2 lol

relay knackered giving the fuel pump a constant live.
been told its a 2 part relay and the black one is knackered,ah well hopefully sorts it

only need the XE relay, no need for the other one. Fuel pump wire from the big black relay (XE one) is red with blue stripe and should be connected to the red with blue stripe in the footwell with no relay between them

from what ive seen its the diizy redtops that have the fuel relay under the bonnet,mine is a dispac one and its in the footwell...sorry to go off subject

sorted,was the black relay that was fucked origionally,the last owner made it a 2 part relay.
put a new one one this mornin and batterys fine
