Evening All
Happy New Year!
My van insurance is up for renewal in about a weeks time, and I realised I promised myself to get a CAT 1 alarm fitted to it before renewal 9as it was going to save me about £100 on insurance, and also is a worthwhile investment on my van imo)
So am after suggestions for a good company who do a good job and have good prices that are local to Chichester / Guildford OR are mobile.
Suggestions on alarms would also be welcome - I've got a couple in mind, but am willing to listen to suggestions!
Cheers

Yeh thats one of the ones I've got in mind.
Not sure on using systems from Sigma etc as they seem a bit gimmicky? So have narrowed it down to Clifford or Toad.
Found the Toad on eBay for £210 fitted from some guy in Yorkshire who will travel down for a bit over the £210 price - don't know if thats a good price? Doesn't sound too bad!

You can buy them for £100 without fitting yourself, not to sure if £110 for fitting is good?
I might fit one to the GF's car... not Thatcham approved but better than nothing.

RSAudio.co.uk mate, mobile fitting nationwide, good prices and a brilliant job, had 2 alarms fitted by them, 1 Avital and 1 Clifford, both have been excellent!

Thanks mate - just checked them out.
Have now started looking at the Hornet Maxx 1 as also heard lots of good things about it, and I can get that fitted by "electrifying touch" for £250 this week - seems to be a bloody good price - RS charge £260.

I can vouch for the Toad Ai606. Got that on my Corsa. Had no problems what so ever. Originally batter still works in the remote. I paid about £210 fitted a few years back.
Most are on eBay as you've discovered.
I saw the guy fitting mine and I wouldn't like to try it myself. Plus, you have to get a certificate

Yeh I'm now getting the Hornet Maxx 1 fitted for 3250 to my van on Friday, by Electrifying Touch.
I know fitting them can be a bit of a ballache and obviously I'll be getting the important certificate from this too lol.
