my xe engine,sits down slightly to the left.bought it with conversion already done.been told rear gearbox mount hasnt been spaced rite.would this be the only cause?or could there be more,jus so i know what too look for.also gearstick sits just right of centre when in neutral,im guessin this is because the engine is sitting down to that side?

yeah normally its missing the rear spacer.
look to that first
then to the drivers mount setup
what was used etc

mine did the same! the drivers engine mount L shaped one with three holes into the block one of them had snapped might be your problem
