For Restaurants I'd recommend somewhere like The Black Door or Cafe21, however we do have a rather vibrant China Town on Stowell Street with a host of good Restaurants, the pick of which being Landmark in my opinion.

As for bars it's all about the Diamond strip which is up towards the Central Station area of Newcastle. More up market bars which would be far more suitable if you're with your better half. We usually start a Tokyo and follow on to Revolution, Floritas, Baby Lynch and finally Perdu.

If you're after a proper full on dance and clubbing experience Digital is the only real choice in Newcastle with a whole host of top class DJ's regularly featuring on a Saturday night at Shindig.

If you're just looking for somewhere a to end the night with your generic dance and RnB I'd recommend Sea on the Quayside or Tiger Tiger up at The Gate.

Hopefully that'll get you started but feel free to get in touch if you want any more information.

The Quayside is only a 10 minute walk from the Hilton however you looking at more like 20 minutes up to the Central and a Cab ride away from China Town
