4k to insure a 1600 corsa sport is a bit of a joke, even if you are 17. my insurance for my old redtop at 18 was £1800 my v6 now is £1400 at 20, if you are going to get a 1600 sport then try getting quotes from different companys, hic and adrian flux where the best for me so give them a call.

So insurance on a 1.6 Corsa B is more pricey than on a 1.6 Ibiza?

Yup, the 1.6 in my Ibiza is a 8v, only 100BHP, its a tad faster than a 1.4 16v corsa I think.

Ive decided that if a 1.4 C comes up cheap I will get it, just can't face going 'backwards'

So what u paying on the ibiza at th min then?

Too much Well I was paying just over 2K on my golf, then it was an extra 200 quid to put the ibiza on the insurance add in interest and it makes 2.4k

I know hence why I only have a 1.6. Plus I wouldn't be able to afford to buy a Cupra

Just depends what comes up at what price! I will have what ever I can get for my Ibiza plus a few hundred more, so probs just over £2000. See if any dopey dealers want to give me over the odds on my beeza for a part ex
