My girfriend ordered me a Family Guy dvd before christmas,

They said it was out of stock and would have on with me as soon as possible,

Recieved dvd today. all excited,

It doesnt bloody work,

Did she definately order the correct one? I've fucked up on that site before now but my player is multi region so it didn't matter Tbh.

did you get it from play.com or playusa.com, play.com sell region 2 dvds and playusa sell region 1. This may be of help or not, prob not.

Try and get your dvd player region free. google the make and model and see if there is a unlock code, there usually is.

Play.com do sell region 1 dvds as well as 2 on the UK site.

If she bought it new it would be Region 2 unless specified. If she bought it from PlayTrade then it could even be an entirely different DVD as PlayTrade is like ebay

Yeah but check the order history anyway. It's not impossible for someone to buy it brand new and then resell it without opening it.

It was ordered from play.com directly

It wasnt the plautrade site or whatever it is.

BUT I had a look at the envelope it arrived it and it has a www.moviemars.,com sticker on it

It's from Playtrade then mate. It isn't a different site, its a service that Play.com offers on the same page as the item they're selling from their own stock. People can sell their unwanted DVDs via Playtrade and they all offer different prices. If Play.com dont have the item in stock, then it'll state they don't have it but it's still avaliable via Playtrade.
