Im renting at the moment on my own. You need to allow 1-1.2k a month to cover yourself and be comfortable

You don't want to spend anything and end up paying over £1500? Sucks

Live on my own and pay approx the following (2 bed very nice flat in town centre location next to river hence the rental cost!)
Rent £750
C.Tax £90
Water £20
Electricity (no Gas) £40
Sky (TV, + Internet) £75ish
Phone £11
Food £150ish
TV Licence £130ish (per yr)
Home Ins £105 (per yr)
Think thats about it...
Sensible logic as people have said is double your rent
