Its one of my friends birthday, and she can't decide to go to either Liverpool or Manchester for a night out, who has been to either and which one would you say is better?

Also can you reccomend any good hotels to stay in and where to go etc

Thanks

Go to liverpool, From what ive experienced its better than manchester, If you do go to liverpool go down matthew street and into concert square, pleanty of good bars and clubs around there, As for hotels, try the holiday inn near the st johns shopping centre (thats the only one i could think of at the moment)

Personally I prefer Liverpool, people are more up for a laugh. Manchester can be a bit pretentious. Had good nights in both though.

Both are great, but if you choose Manchester, let me know as I can maybe get you cheap rates at the hotel I work at. Its a 4* Marriott right on Deansgate in the Centre of Manchester.

Tiger Tiger is a good night out and I can get you free entry, or Birdcage is popular, especially with girls.

Is your mate fit btw?

i've always enjoyed myself more in liverpool, simply because of the krazyhouse

bar cava for cheap tequila , in all the flavours of the rainbow!

Been to both, one obviously more than the other.

Disagree. Matthew Street is great if you want to bump into hundreds of stag and hen do's. Concert Square is ok though as there are plenty of bars down the side streets running off there.

Liverpool is by far the better city for shopping now that the Liverpool One project has been 99% finished.

I miss Liverpool now.

Liverpool out of the two.

Mattew Street or concert square are both really good.

I love Manchester but its far too expensive and everythings really far apart, end up gettin taxis all over the place.
