Ive had my corsa 2.0 nnow for 5 months and started to get use to that power, want a lil bit more, was gona change the engine for a c20let but not got the money now really.
The engine already has some mods like powercap, bored out, forged pistons, let lifters. has a raised limiter.
Before the powercap was fitted it was 156bhp so its unknown wat it could be now.
What could i do...
Chip it?
Race cams?

How much power would i gain??

ahhh robs old corsa, well looked after car with him and jaycarr. get the gearbox rebuilt with a better final drive and lsd, will transform the car

final drive for an f20 out of which gearbox would you recommend?

Dont bother with fancy cams and a chip on an otherwise standard engine.And get the powercap ditched for the original SFI box to get some torque back.

A good service will be better than the parts your thinking about.

I service it regurlaly mate, even did it for rob when he had it! i was thinkin of an lsd on in, does spin up alot,
and would taking the powercap off make much difference??

In my eyes working on C20XE's for years.
i wouldent mess with small things like said about.
First thing i would do is get rid of the inlet for something better like Carbs or Throttle bodys.
OR
For the same price as a set of second hand carbs get some Nitrous

After that your looking at big money
