Hi All

First posts on here i know but thought it should be a goodun, so here goes, i found myself a little 5 door LS at the weekend for £200 nothing wrong with it whatsoever the girl who sold it just thought it was worth feck all as the paint was "faded" however theres nothing a good be of T-cutting couldnt do to make this car look mint again, so i handed over my £200 got the car home, and the next morning dropped the car off at my local car audio/windowtint/valeting specialists, fortunatly i know a guy who works there so i got a full work up for a very lushious price, heres some pics below of the car when i got it:

As you can see it looks like someones covered it in chalk and left it to set a couple of hundred years.

Heres some pictures after it had been completly cleaned up properly on the outside:

and to see the transition between the two:

Quite an amazing job, them pink speakers are getting chucked as they dont match the colour of the car anymore aswell as all the black trim resprayed and will also be de-wipered at the back, it will be finished tommorow evening so will take some more pics and add them then.

Contact for SCR (the place that did the work) is 01784 420563 they are based near heathrow generally do all audio stuff even full builds door cards ect, real good tints, alloys, car valetting, phone/nav installs u get the idea.

As for the future (staying in my £500 budget)

Car - £200 so i've got £300 to play around with

All trim is going to be resprayed gloss black along with a set of alloys that i should have soon.

Two Red on Black Buckets coming in.

Car to be stripped throughout minus the dash. (free so why not:boggle.

Manifold through to exhaust system from a friend (so not emptying my budget!).

60mm Lowered.

An air filter of which i have not chosen yet.

So basicly your run of the mill setup but all hopefully for less than £500 including the car!

Wish me luck, ill have updated as soon as the works been done to keep you all nodding

Cheers
Pete

not an air filter, drill the box and put some cold air feeds in?

look better than a cone filter as well, then use a panel kn filter

Looks like a phone number rather than a number plate print. Starts 01206 maybe it was signwritten?
