Hi, I am wanting to buy some new clocks I have seen for my 1 litre 12v corsa... Its a 200 w reg, GLS model
The clocks I want are from a 1.4 16v... And I dunno if they will fit..
Will my clocks be cable driven or electric??
Cheers Carl..

Yours are electric and the 1.4 ones will not work.
Why do you want the 1.4 ones?

Your clocks are for a 3cylinder car so no,1.4 clocks wont work as they are for 4cylinders.

get some 1.0 12v clocks with a rev counter, you can paint the needles etc to make them a little more interesting.

The 1.4 clocks will definitely not work, don't even bother with them because it's a waste of time.
If all you want is white faces and orange needles then you can do that yourself easily. At the end of the day, you'll need to get your clocks out and then put the new ones in, so you might as well just paint your own while you're at it instead of spending extra on a whole new set which you will also have to adjust the mileage on as well, which is a boring job, trust me. The clocks I bought were only 1k out but it took forever to spin back round and I was using a drill.
Adz_gsi: The GLS is the highest model that the 12v came in and has a rev counter as standard
