Following other thread, wheres the best place to get quotes from for example a CBR125? Ive tried MCE (£450 ) and just been on eBike (£1400 GTF)

I only pay £550 for FC car insurance, surely bike insurance shouldnt be this much for me should it?

Ive just been quoted £400 on a Bandit 600, No experience and no NCB.

RS125 are better than a CBR125, I paid £300 for my RS. Dont forget you've got to take into account your driving experience and NCB on your car... hence the lower prices.

think i was paying about 300 for my nsr125 when i was 17 with just a provisional. think you have to do the cbt 'compulsary bike training' before you go on the road or else it wouldnt be complusary... the other thing about full car licence might be right though, i was just guessing

so as i passed in 2000, i dont need to do the cbt, i can just get a bike, stick Lplates on and ride it (with insurance and tax obvously)

I was with MCE on a VFR400 at 17 for £600. They quoted me the best by far, but it's the same as car insurance, just shop around.
