tbh that I wouldn't really know.
All I know is fitting in 1/1.5 months shopping in the boot can sometimes be frustrating, and the rear seats are required

if i was you and considering one of these id have to go for the astra as it has more power etc, my corsa valver can just about smoke a corsa vxr, you wouldnt want to spend thousands on a corsa vxr 1 day and have a corsa valver fly past you the next, imo the astra does look nicer and dosnt look like a girly car unlike the corsa

It isn't all about flat out speed though. 400 mile round trip to see relatives? Valver or Corsa VXR? I know what I'd choose.

If someone flew past me in a "valver" and i had a vxr, id think it was a quick b and continue driving my safer, more refined, better looking, sumptous interiored Vxr while you tootle off impressing no-one other than a bunch of spotty chavs on scooters.

No you would leave it in 6th and make use of the overboost facility.
