will a 1.4 sport speedo cable fit my car

it started life as a 1.0 12v

but now is a c16xe corsa gsi engine and clocks

im sure its mechanical

as where it plugs in to at back of the clock the metal pin bit has broke and if u turn ignestion somethink in side the cable spins ?
