My Auntie is my Doctors receptionist so i tend to find it easy to get an appointment right away. only once i can remember that i had to wait until the next day.

At mine you have to wait for a nurse to ring back to decide if you need a doctor or not then it's usually 3/4 days before you get to see one.

fuck that...how the hell can they decide over the phone if you need a doctor? thats the stupidest thing i have ever heard. i hardly ever go to the docs when i have something wrong so when i do it is because it's pretty serious. no way would i let them tell me if i need to see one.

You have to say it's an emergency to get one the same day, otherwise it's 2 weeks wait at mine. Funnily enough, whenever I call, it's always an emergency.

If you phone mine before 8am you can get a same day appointment. Have to wait on hold for a while tho

cant you just go in and wait when theres an open surgery mine has like open surgery 2 times a day for a few hours.

Try phoning them up as soon as they open, then they will give you one on the same day

Works for me up here, i just get my mum to phone and get me one in the afternoon so i dont have to get up early
