Hi, my mate is having a bit of trouble with his car - he bought himself a fully tax and tested escort off a mate for £85 about 3 months ago - hasnt had a problem since, but whenever he turns left, it makes a horrible noise!
Doesnt have to be on full lock, just any turn left and you can hear it!
Strange noise - bit of a scrubbing noise, but there is no strange wear on the tyres, and when on full lock, the wheel isnt rubbing the arch or anything, so im guessing its the CV joint? Or am I mistaken?
And also, are they hard to sort out? I would be willing to try it if it isnt stupidly complicated, as I like messin about with spanners! lol
