And the fact theres bugger all room to put the SC.

Its been done on the 2.0 ecotec lump (pics on my site under vx engines somewhere), and been attempted on the redtop.

But as said, functionality? Cost? Power increase??

All lots and lots, bar the power increase, which wasn't all that much.

SC add low down power, but they die off at top revs.


Cheaper, easier, more cost effective, simpler, and more power available from the LET if you want tot go down that route.

Anyone remember that pink tigra girls black gsi which she went on about SC, and after 6+ months, she sold the parts

Z22 has been done plenty of times. Its even offered as an off the shelf upgrade for the 2.2 units for years now from Courtenay.

The engines seem to be moving around alot in the engine bay when under load! is this safe??

Engines always move lots under load.

Its called torque.

hence why standard engine mounts are not solid material (rubber inserts).
