Hi,
Me and my dad have built many different cars, mainly escorts. just thought id share our last project together as my dad is getting to old ! lol
Started out as a bare shell.
This is the last of the doner car
I'm not going to go through every last detail i'll just post a few pics up from start to finish.
We where debating if we should take on a big project, as it was summer we thought lets have a laugh ! i began stripping the capri for the exels and the engine, the main priority as you can see from the pics was all the body work, the was so much rot and rust.
Everything got done outside the house, it was sprayed in my garden in a tent good job it was summer.
Everything was done to a fine detail, lots of hard hours where put in, in total it didnt take long to build atall. We built her from the ground up from what she was to where she is now, you wouldnt think it was possible to turn it all around with the funds we had.
Approx a week after it was all done and ready for the road, a deer went into the side of it and dented all the sill and rear quater it was a big shame and a shock, we dealt with it quickly and just fixed it within a week.
Overall i enjoyed my experience building it and cant wait to start my own project, i could say alot more about the car but i could type for days so i'll let the pictures show you the rest. ( Sorry they arnt in order ! )
