My engines a write of anyway, spark-plug disintegrated in cylinder4 and theres no compression, the cylinder is gona be scratched and scorched to death!

If our probs are bottom end, im sure you can put an X16XE bottom end and have a 1.6

Yeah, squirted a bit of the old WD on there, gonna leave it til tomorrow now though, doing my head in! lol

That sucks about your engine! What you gonna do now? You gonna get another engine and chuck that in?

Bottom end idea sounds cool, but I dont have the talents or equipment to be doing jobs that big! lol

Im sure it's the bottom end anyway, and their not too much too purchase within reason, gota make sure their in good nic!

Well been planning on a 1.8 smallblock conversion for sometime so i'll prob convince someone i know in my area to use their garage 4a while and steadily do that i guess!

Wanted WarrenG to do it for me as he knows his stuff, but considering the situation im in now, don't think it's viable
