Hi
The hinge bolts securing my parcel shelf have dropped down into the side body work and I've been told by my Vauxhall garage that to retrieve them and get the shelf back to its working order, the whole internal trim would have to be removed. At present the shelf merely balances on the back seats.

Does anyone have any other advice re this? I thought about trying to replace the bolts but as there is a dead end on the parcel shelf slot (where they fit) I wouldn't be able to get both sides fixed without difficulty. My car is a Corsa, 3dr.

Thanks!

You can either reach up inside the plastic trim through the access hatch for the shock absorbers and push the dowels back in place, or alternatively remove the plastic trim yourself to do them.

It will take about an hour to do (maximum), and there are approximately 8 screws in each side panel to remove, a very simple task.
