right im looking at upgrading the turbo on my let as its gettin rather smokey and tbh would like a few more horses.
ive been looking into a gt28rs and would obvesly need a manifold to suit but i would also like a external wastegate and gt28rs are internally gated. Am i able to just add a external wastegate?
Whats sort of power would i be looking at without running the turbo on its limits

theyre good for about 360 ish. there are ways to run internally gated turbo's with an external one instead. but id be suprised if you cant buy a gt28rs that can run an external wastegate. there are quite a few options and castings available for garret turbo's.

External waste gates are alot more work and alot more money.
I mostly sell a geniune Garrett stage 2 T3 hybrid turbo and stainless tubular manifold for £650 brand new which is good for 400bhp
