My Insurance doesnt cover "Act's of God". What exsactly does that cover?

I ask because my friend just rolled his dad's Rav (Luckily he's fine) After slipping on some ice. Ice is an act of god, does this mean he isnt covered?

Also.. It doesnt cover act's of war.. does this mean if i declair war on somebody's car and crash into it it's no longer covered?

Wont be covered for flood damage, lightning damaga, wind (ie, branch falling on car due to strong winds blowing it down)...

ICE on road surfaces not sure, that should be covered tbh, but worth checking incase the company is anal...

Acts of War means it wont be covered if its blown up or in the vicinity of a terrorist explosion or something shit like that...

i'm pretty sure that an accident on ice is dealt with the same as any other accident as It's down to how you drive in the conditions.

i think they can only use the act of god one if you are not actually driving the car otherwise it is an at fault claim..

but as other have said it is classed as an event which is totally beyond anybodys control, force of nature etc. blah!

A 3rd party will always be covered if you hit someone but if no other person or property is involved and its caused by 'nature' they can call the 'act of god card'

I'd have thought exampling sliping on ice and crashing would classify as "Lost control in bad weather" as claim etc.

Whats that film called? Remember seeing it but don't know what it's called

if crashing in ice is invalid due to an act or god then surely crashing in the rain/sun/whatever would also invalid your insurance?

some people don't think
