hey, a friend of mine is looking to do a multi point convertion to his corsa b 1.6 8v ( x16sz ) , what does he need to do this ? i think maenly i need advice on the wireing. ive writen a check list if theres anything missing please tell me. cheers
Check list :
MPI head
inlet manifold
mpi lume
mpi fuel pump /sender ?
i think thats basicly it ? all this will be out of an astra , the engine that is in the car is from a R reg estate astra. all help welcome

well as i understand it the astra lume doesnt clip onto the corsa single point lume , and allso the corsa has the chip'd key thingy will i have to change anything to run the other lume ?

if the ecu ure getting is immobilised you will need the chip for it , the loom is colour to colour

aaa thats easy enuff , so does it matter if the lume has the immobiliser on it and the ecu doesnt ? will it run ? thanks for your help mate , we'll get some pic and stuff up

the ecu hold the immobiliser not the loom, if the ecu required one in the last car it was in then yes you will need the chip out of the key from the previous car
