Or a 12v. Nearly every single one comes with EPS apart from poverty spec.

I prefer not to have it. Pain in the arse when parking at really slow speeds, but I feel safer giving my car stick without it. Get more of a feel for the corners.

I remember once when I'd put the fuse back in at a rolling road day why someone else was driving it. When I left I'd forgot about it so drove off with it still in. That was the most uncomfortable driving experience I've ever had, it felt like the steering wheel wasn't connected to anything with how easy it was turning, didn't feel safe at all

It's 1 million times better with it, especially for a girl.

I drive my dads combo all the time and i'd rather have power steering than the 'feel' every time.

mine was far better when i had no pas pump and no fluid in the rack. often wish id left it like that. i pull the fuse out the saxo pump when doing runs up the strip. set off isnt as easy to control with pas at all.

depends on the car or vehicle john really. id not want my works van to have no pas.

With a corsa for a girl though Nic, power steering wins.

My old SXi was fun with the EPS, on motorway it stopped working, unknown to me, untill i came off at a junction and got to a roundabout. Foooooooooke me was it heavy!! lol

Ive had both though, and without it is fine untill parking up it gets a bit harder.

Hmm, im not sure what to tell her now.

It will be her first car, and she hasnt a clue. Nor do i re: the steering.

If i told her to get it, i could sell half of V947 to her, ie. interior, spoiler etc

You dont need PAS on a Corsa (unless it has a conversion?)

I had 2 1.4's and they were a piece of piss to drive

That'll be mine
Anyways, my 12v doesn't have PAS and I drive my sisters Clio and dad's Golf a fair bit, both of them have PAS and I find its only useful when parking, otherwise it's not needed.
