Is there a technique to getting the rear quarter windows out and replacing it without smashing the glass?

on my corsa i had to cut the rubber out and then cut the glue that hold the window in place.
out of interest what you taking it out for?

Id be taking one out at a scrap yard and fitting it to mine because of this:

on the fiesta its not glued in mate, just a rubber seal that sits over a lip.

Should be easy with a bit of string to pull the rubber over??
