Right, so i'm after an Ipod.
Want 16gb, but dont know what model is best, if there are any real differences?
Want something to plug into a dock so i can play tunes loudish, not got a hifi & laptop has pants speakers.
Thinking either classic or touch, know the touch has gota few extras, but dont know if they are worth it.
Opinions please?

Do you have to use I-Tunes, or can you put any songs on there?
6th Gen, is that a fairly recent one?

Think i've settled on the 16gb touch, as i only have 8gb of tunes on my laptop at the moment & dont download anything, so think 16gb will do me.
Whats the difference between 1st & 2nd Gen touches?

2nd gen has a loudspeaker, external volume control and is slightly thinner than the 1st gen I know that much, also compatible with nike+ out of the box. I have a 2nd gen 32gb
