From what I gather it's just like Facebook but ONLY the 'What are you doing now?' feature. Completely pointless imho.

essentially get anything to be 'spoken about by media' - tv / radio / papers etc...

and you'll get a success with any site even if it's shit / useless...

The latest hype is because so many people are hearing about it, they're joining to see the fuss about it - which in turn causes more hype and more media attention...

Twitter will die out in months.

Which was Facebook whilst MySpace was first on the scene Facebook started out as a way of 2 University campuses talking to each other
