Been to see a property for rent. its fucking mint!

But locked into current property till April 22nd

What can i do to secure it before it goes

Probly not, the LL is missing out on as good as 2 months worth of rent with you not moving in straight away, and the deposit they dont see anyway, it goes to the holding people (cant remember what they are called) for safekeeping. Deposit would be the only way to do it, but the LL or LA could reject it for being too far in the future, all depends

If you're chummy with your current landlord is worth a try to get out a couple of months early.

Just spoke to esate agents.... the LL might be up for taking a £100 deposit to secure then when we move in get it back.... Seems fair?

Seems very fair tbh, considering he wont get any rent for 2 months, AND hes willing to give you it back
