Can't say I've been asked a single one of these Something I'm proud of? Yeah right. I come in, do the job, end of. I'd say that if asked.
I think if I was an interviewer I'd prefer someone who was honest and to the point rather than a bullshitter.

Last few interviews I've had have all been competancy based, things like "describe a situation where you feel you have gone above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service"

Ive never had a propper interveiw
ours normally goes
"hiya you any work on?"
"you got your Corgi? "
"yeah"
" yeah we have / no we havent"
seem to be getting alot of "no we havent" lately
