I took out my policy and stated that i had a years no claims.

I sent in proof of my no claims, and they said that because it was over two years old, they cant accept it.

So they have now added another £300 odd quid onto my policy.

Not chuffed.

Has anyone had any luck in phoning them up and threatening to cancel in aid of getting a reduced premium?

Thats your fault, I doubt they'll care if you cancel, they'll get a nice admin fee off you.

Best way to reduce your premium is to change your job description.

Tell them you are a paedophile, as they like drivers that drive slowly and watch out for children
