Yeah, I think it was HUKD yesterday saying about it, and several people said it has been around for ages and it's nothing special. It was a site similar to HUKD if it wasn't that exact site.
They're giving Sky HD boxes away for £29 or so now, and Sky+ box has been free for ages IIRC. My uncle got Sky+ installed in his new place a few weeks back and got free installation and a free Sky+ box.
Sky probably tried to make it sound like they were doing you a massive favour, when really you've just signed up for a 12 month contract...

Yeah, that's not really a deal at all, you've saved probably £30 installation as a returning customer.
New customers can get HD+ Box for £49, free installation, and 1 month free HD deal, so i'm paying £39.50 for first month, then £49.25 for the other 11 (everything excluding movies)

Shut up...
It's nice to have Sky for football and movies... It's no different than having a phone contract or buying a few DVDs a month. It's like a round or two down the pub...

I agree, if i go to the pub on a sunday to watch the football i normally end up spending £40/50 on drinks, gambling, pool etc...
Now i'll be spending a tenner at most getting some beers in and watching the football. So i'll be saving money in the long run anyway
