I've not been detected yet but i've only been on live for about 4 months. Its worth flashing your drive then buying a 3 month gold subscription from that jasper guy then if you do get banned you've not lost 12 months. or get a silver accoutn which offers you 1 months free of GOLD and see how you go.

£39.99 for a 12month sub, and then you get banned after 2 weeks. You'd be gutted.
I'm using 1.4 still, and I'm ok.
A few of my mates who were using 1.4 got banned though.
Couple of mainboard swaps later, and we're all good again!
