how could i get my x14xe to spit and pop coming down through the revs on the over run??

atm have a ful straight through to a sebring back box, which has a 6x4 tip

rev it to about 4k and flick the igniton off then back on ded quick using the key

fpr and wind the fuker up to 2 bar, car wont run bang on but you should get some exhaust popping, (this is only advice, i would never do this personally)

i know its not a good idea but it gets gives the desired effecr hes asking for, wanting your car to pop and bang as your coming down revs isnt a great idea either really

Usually, all ya need is a decat and it should do it, espc. on a turbo'd car

yeah x14xe, just want it to give the odd pop and spit, not all the time, would a cherry bomb back box do this??

have you changed the mainfold? and maby you need a smaller back box or one with less baffles init

naw its a standard manifold, and the sebring box that is on i can see straight through it,

ive got a 4-2-1 manifold, decat and a (de)cat back system and it pops flames, pop's and bangs all the time...mines a x16xe

there you go if gez c16b has a manifold and you don't that is where you may get your pops and bangs that you want, if not then im sure someone like powerflow could knock you one up that will pop wizz and bang

put a nail in the exhaust, the tip of it creates a hot point that will ignite any unburnt gases

anyone know where i can get a cheap 4-2-1 manifold from?? where abouts in the exhaust could i pu the nail to try it??

lol don't think putting a nail in your exhuast is the best of ideas as its going to rattle around, look on ebay for a manifold bout £150 up it think

no you nail it in and then weld over/round it so its in tight and wont ome out, you could do it in the centre section or anywhere lol

you know when your coming up to a junction, and you just lift off the accelerator and let the engine slow down still in gear nd it goes down the revs

yeh thats when it will do it as there will be unburnt fuel going out the exhaust, which will be ignited by the tip of the nail
