yeh, adjusted all the dials
sometimes it makes really distorted noise and when i change the sensitivity dial it moves but not playing the music
would it be worth trying it bridged on the 2 channels?

the new one is more powerful than the one i had wired up, the RMS is 300x2 i think, one i have now is nowhere near that
on the back of the amp there is an input and an aux out (RCA) what is the aux out? and just to check the input is the RCA leads from the back of the headunit yeh lol
also there is a swith that says config which has either off, lp or hp, which one should i have it in

lp and hp is low pass and high pass filter. think it blocks out frequencies.
