the dude who took it out of the cav removed eveything from the engine so was just left with the bear engine.
and everything else separetly,

number 6 is hot start valve. dont pipe it up but leave it plugged in.
number 4 is the std dump valve in the turbo. if its had say a bailey fitted, that just gets blocked off. should have a small spacer ring inside there to stop the diaphram of the std dump valve opening and closing.

8 is the Charcoal cannister (behind the drivers side wing) and 2 is the fuel tank vent valve.
You shoul have a pipe coming from the bottom of the car at the drivers side, fairly small OD and plastic IIRC, that just goes to the fuel tank vent valve

You need the fuel tank vent valve of you will have the engine light on all the time. Some people dont bother plumbing them in but I never really figured out why, its so easy to do and its not like it saves you any weight

Sorry I know this is an old thread but can't find the info I need anywere! Basically I've just put a early xe in a Corsa and realised its got a let inlet manifold. It came out of an Astra which I drove home fine no problems and was actually quite quick! My question I know it worked but,the vacuum going to ecu,can I just block it off? As I obviously don't need it with my xe ecu and I can't remember how it was plumbed in...
