To be fair, the message is a good one... watch out for everyone - not just cars.
However, it's annoying how it is trying to make the point that the first man is a careless idiot for not noticing something that was so clear / obvious if he had just looked...
However it wasn't the same situation both times... and probably even if he looked again in the 2nd one he still wouldn't of seen it due to position / speed.
Would've worked far better if the bike was actually visible in both when he does and doesn't look... but made in a way that you probably would miss it the first time round and the next time you watch the advert you'd notice the bike and think 'fuck, how did I miss that? Point well made I should pay more attention'.

but if that happened.
then mr know it all will down the pub etc will always shout out " i can see the bike" and try and gain respect for being a complete twat.
then hell think hes the best most observant driver in the world and the message wont have gotten across at all.
