I have a BLAUPUNKT GTA 470 Amplifier (800 Watt - 2x200 RMS) installed in my corsa and i've bought a BLAUPUNK GTB MKII 1200 (250W RMS - 4 Ohm) but i dont know how to connect it to the amplifier unit, due to the 4 ohms referenced in the sub.

- My initial idea was to connect the subwoofer terminals in "Bridge Mode" (as printed in the diagram on the amplifier outputs)

- Is there any chance that i could connect the Subwoofer (250 RMS) and a pair of Speakers (70 RMS each) simultaneously?

Here are some pics of the amplifier unit:
1: RCA Inputs

2: Amplifier Unit

3: Power Inputs

4: Speaker Outputs

5: Speaker Outputs 1

6: Speaker Outputs2

7: Speaker TopView

8: Car View (back)

Could you please tell me wich terminals of the "Speaker Output" on the amplifier unit should i use connect the (+) and (-) terminals of SubWoofer.

Thanks a lot.
** I DONT have the instructions manual of the Amplifier =/

Connets the sub to the "bridged" treminals of the front speakers and connect your 6x9s to have a channel of the rear speakers each.

The sub will then have 200W RMS and the 6x9s 100W each

You will also need to run 2 pairs of RCA leads from the head unit to the amp (assuming it has a sub out and rear out feature?) and of course the battery + and remote lead

Yup luke85, all power lines and RCA (SubOut) (from head units) are connected (the pictures were token before connections were made).

So according to your suggestion this is the layout i should use:

*****************************************************

[REAR] -> CH4 (speaker 1) // CH3 (speaker 2)
[FRONT] -> CH2 (-) subwoofer CH1(+)

*****************************************************

*My Head Unit of the radio only has SUB-OUT RCA Outputs (+ -).

Q1 - Where should i get the amp input for the "Rear Input" as suggested by you?
The only thing i have related to "rear" are the rear speaker cables. =/

Q2 - Do i need a "Capacitor" for my setup?

Q3 - The HeadUnit outputs 4 x 50W - Are this 50W RMS or Peak?
Thanks a lot.

Q4 - Can i connect only the sub (in bridged mode) to the amplifier (without connecting the other 2 speakers) ?

Thanks a lot.

Q1 - You can get Y splitters to split the RCA you have coming down the car in to 2. That way you will have 4 RCA at the back. However you will need to make sure that the RCA out put from the head unit is not just the bass frequencies i.e. let the AMP seperate the bass freq from the rest for the rears and the sub.

Q2 - You shouldnt need a capacitor. Just make sure your alternator is up to the job.

Q3 - Peak i belive

Q4 - i dont see why not (waits to be corrected)

My head-unit (SONY CDX R3350) has only Sub-out RCA Output.

Can i connect 2 RCA terminals to the "Rear" speaker cables and connect them to the Rear Input of the amplifier (for posterior connecting the rear speakers to it (aka 6x9's) ?

Thanks a lot
