Deep pockets, experience in building engines and a Vauxhall EPC because if you go into any dealers or ask anyone to do all the searching for you you will be told to GTF.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Oil pump
Water pump
Cambelt
Tensioner/roller
Piston rings
Sump gasket
Head gasket set
Head bolts
Then what ever you want to do to the head really i.e. valves, porting etc

best off using genuine parts aswell.

if i gota build one top-bottom for some one its:
elring head/sump sets
gates cambelt kit
rebuilt oil pump
good quality water pump.
acl 780 big ends and mains.
re-hone and ring.
bit where depends if build a gud motor or not is.
have the crank journals and block measured and checked for wear. as may either want crank polished or ground so need oversize bearings.
and check the block is stil within honing tolerances other wise if want proper job get block bored to 86.5mm and put new pistons/rings in.
cant comment on cost due to if need anything machining just to be built as a fresh stock motor
