Inlet for £700+.
Pass the lube...
Even Mantzels and Lexmauls cost £400 odd, so where the fcuk they get £700+ from is a joke.
But then again, it is regal, they will shaft anyone they can.

It's a complete replacement inlet for the C20XE and C20LET Daimo, not just a replacement top half like the Mantzel/Lexmaul/Dbilas/ebay box section types.

Lower inlet is replaced on C16's.
Only upper box is replaced on X16 and X14's.
tbh, for £750, i think i'd rather custom make one and save half that money

Not to mention that C20LET's are running around 400bhp on the standard inlet, so for a NA 2.0 engine its REALLY not needed.
And if your going mad on a LET, would you use an off the shelf inlet?

someones gotta pay for all their fancy adverts.
they will obviously be mass producing these which will keep their costs down, be interesting to know how much theyre making on these!!

your not wrong there, 400bhp is achievable on the standard inlet but a 400bhp engine with one of these (in theory) will see 450bhp.
so for the potential of 50bhp its not a bad price.
Also you need to consider its made for the german market, so its TUV approved, this adds its own price tag.

having priced up casting inlets of a similar design for a duratec, you will be suprised how much money in involved in making the tooling to make one.

that I do actually agree with.
Hence why we all rated the old Mantzels and Lexmauls so highly when they came out. They done exactly what they said on the tin, and in an era when Max Powers claims of an exahust and filter on a 1.2 giving another 30bhp, it was a breath of fresh air

just think they're putting the item into a high end yet quite small market so perhaps not planning on selling many.
im sure in a few years when we start seeing these on ebay they will be a bargain .

Dblias do a simular item for the z-let, it's £700 and add's about 15 bhp after mapping, ideal for breaking the 300 mark on standard internal's
