I was about to U2U you about this

Have watched him in the reserves a lot over the last two seasons. He is a big strong defender, not bad with the ball at his feet but certainly more of a no-nonsense kind of defender.

Does look a good prospect but not sure of his chances of ever breaking through for us given our current CBs.

Sounds exactly what we need at the moment.

From what I can gather we've taken him till the end of the season, with a view to a season long loan next time round.

He certainly needs the experience, as is better than our reserves but obviously isnt going to get much experience in our firsts (although played in one earlier this season).

Butler looked OK when he first started playing, gone of the boil a bit of late though.

One thing that does make me laugh though, is how he always looks like he's going to fall over when the ball is at his feet but then somehow manages to re-balance and hack it away. Strange.
