as said in the title,any ideas? just bought it and has 12 months mot so cant be that serious? cv joint/driveshaft?

its a 1998 astra f (mark 3) 83k on the clock also the temp gauge doesnt seem to move much but the heater does work after about half an hour lol paid £450 what can you expect

if it only happens in first i would look at the clutch release bearing and as for the heater i would change the thermostat

Would this make it crunch when changing gears? seem to have to put clutch right down to change gear,crunches bad when put in reverse
