can this be patched up? its on the joint of the centre silencer and started to make a rattly tinny noise

You can get exhaust patches & paste, is its on a join however yous be best to replace it as it will just get worse.

if its a standard centre section then go to a motor factors and spend £15 on a new one

£15 is that all they are, im sure my bro was charged over £100 to have 1 fitted, its on a corsa c btw

Getting one fitted & getting one from GSF & fitting it yourself will have a large price difference.

ahh bummer, dnt have any tools for it, and i know dismountin it will probably take a lot of effort since its been on over 6 yrs lol, probably rusted tight

13mm socket, ratchet, probably 2 new exhaust clamps & some paste (slip someone a few quid at local exhaust centre) and a hammer to free the old one off

Just found 2 on mine. First was on a weld which is easy enough to fix with exhaust putty but then i foun another underneath,was only blowing a bit but i bought a new one today to fit tommorow. Paid 20 for the piece not bad at all i thought.
