Seem to have to put clutch right down to the floor when changing gear, tonight when parking really struggled to get into reversed and it crunched everytime, is it the clutch?,also has a knocking when pulling off in first more so when steering isnt straight cv joint?

Oh. On my old one im sure the biting point was in the sky when the clutch went.
Have you checked gearbox oil?
No oil would make them crunch

dont think it would be the oil changes gear ok i think its the clutch everytime i go into reverse it crunches like hell and got the clutch right to the floor,when normal driving its not too bad but bite point seems quite low but i dont know much about the mechanics of them

Yes it'll be the clutch cable adjustment, just adjust it up a bit near the top of the gearbox. Its got a nut you need to turn.

Normally the low biting point indicates clutch on the way out but try adjusting it 1st and see how you go.
And i think the crunching is related to the syncromesh i think?
