Only a few practised shots -- had a few mates with me so didn't wanna spend ages pissing about. Most shutter speeds were around the 45 second mark so each shot took some time.
Got stopped 4-5 times by Canary Wharf security too. Apparently we need a permit, but no-one knew how you go about getting one. Any ideas?
Apparently I was only stopped and questioned because people carrying big tripods look suspicious. 
Anyway, here we go...

do you have to go through gates or anything to get to it? seems odd you need a permit?

We went through the Canary Wharf gates as we drove... but just walking around Canary Wharf we was stopped several times. They said all Canary Wharf is private land and needs a permit, but they'll let me off tonight.

Nope, he was sat there for ages so ran over as I thought it'd make a good shot.
