I remember rebuilding my rs125. I put a new barrel on mine aswell for peace of mind. Get the powervalve working then it will really sing. Make sure you take it out to clean it regularly too as they gunk up quickly!

Off to look at a little project myself tomorrow, a honda cbr 400 nc23. Something to keep me busy for a while!

cbr400 is a very cool bike, under the radoar of alot of people

dont be swayed by r6's just because of the name etc

a R6 is definitely alot better!

If he doesnt buy the R6 I will

done 17k though on an 02, totally standard 2 new tyres new chain and sprockets, few small stone chips, rear hugger, £3700

Too expensive. about £700 too expensive!

600's do piss on 400's though, newer 600's are over double the power and often weigh less than an old 400 does and have sharper handling geometry.

400's are cool bikes, but for the money are over priced!

stop hi-jacking my thread anyway lol.

I sold my mint 2002 R6, 9k on the clock with £1500+ of tricked out bits, carbon etc.. for 3K. £3700 is taking the piss.

it was overpriced, can pick up similar ones from about £2500. Plus on the finance i would be paying back over £4k.
