Car- 106 1.4 diesel

Changed the head gasket today and it doesnt want to start. Iv checket everything is back where is was and it is. Im thinking I might have an airlock in the diesel as the little hand pump thing is pretty solid. The car will turn over but not start.

Helllllllllllp Please!

Right so do I have to take the all the pipes off the injectors and turn it over or 1 at a time or just 1 of them?

Rite just had a look now. I think it goes:

Fuel pump-Glow plugs-injectors

That sound rite? Loosened 1 off and tried turning it over and no fuel was coming out of the pipe. Should it be a constant flow or? Battery going dead now so will get some charge tomoz, loosen them and tighten when the diesel is comeing through.

it will start to froth out but as soon as you see that tighten it up...i would loosen them all as it will force all the air out .....and tighten up when then show signs of diesel coming out ...
get a friend to turn the car over while you tighten up the pipes ....
a fully charged battery would be ideal but you can jump start it too.....not recommended though or better still......make sure the pipes are tight and take it a tow start....

I locked the camshaft yes and marked it all up so it went back on exactly as it came off. The pump is the opposite side of the cambelt. Im 80% sure its an air lock or the fuel pump is blocked or sumin

ok, the primer sqeezy thing should be pretty hard when the engine isnt runing and youve primed it, have you tried to just keep turning over? peugeot deisel engines always get air in them and are a pain to start even the new engine are like it when changing the fuel filter

primer sqeezy? Is that like the thing to pump diesel into the fuel pump. If it is yes we squeezed it, Its pretty solid when engine is turning over and then goes softer when we stop. We were turning it over for a while before giving up. Guna try and do what is said above with the injectors tomoz and if that doesnt work I will take the pump off and check its not blocked with the sealant we used or sumin. If it not wither of them then at least i will have ruled them out.

Rite I dont really understand this engine but I will try to explain what I mean. Fuel lines going to what I think is the fuel pump that is on the side of the head. Two fuel lines come off that and go to "Part A" (dont know what it is, has the throttle cable on it) 4 pipes come from what i think is the fuel pump and go to the glow plugs. They then come off the glow plugs and go to "Part A".

I take it that the 4 pipes going to "Part A" is the feed for the injectors?

I have disconected one of the pipes going to "Part A" and turned the car over briefly to see if fuel was coming out of the pipe.

NO FUEL IS COMING OUT OF THE PIPE.

So do I have to keep turning it over for longer and it will eventually? Or do I take all 4 off or?

Please help
